A group of Catholic Memorial students came to Rogers Foundation last week with several thoughtful and touching donations. One of the students, familiar with the Rogers’ mission, presented the idea of doing a small drive where she encouraged other students to create “coping skills” packages. Within these packages are many useful items for patients, but as remarkable as what’s inside the boxes, is what was written on the outside of the boxes. The students took the initiative to not only donate well-thought out gifts, but also wrote inspirational quotes and words of encouragement all over the packages.
We thank the several students at Catholic Memorial for thinking outside the box and giving something that will make an impact on patients seeking the beauty of life worth living!
We invite you to do your own drive this holiday season! For more information or ideas take a look at our wishlist.
