Cocktail Reception and Silent Auction
As guests walked up the grand staircase at the Milwaukee Public Museum, they were greeted with a celebration of life worth living. Friends chatted underneath the 36-foot long humpback whale, bid on auction items while exploring the diversity of life, savored appetizers in front of the butterfly garden, and smiled for the camera in front of an exact replica of Milwaukee’s beloved gorilla, Samson.
Before we knew it, it was time to head upstairs for the dinner and program. The Steiglieder special exhibits gallery was decorated in beautiful pink and champagne colors. The flowers, decorations, and pink Japanese lanterns hanging from the ceiling, created a peaceful atmosphere throughout the night.
Featured Presentation – Nashotah Program
The presentation featured the Nashotah Program. Two beautiful young girls and their mother touched our hearts with their stories. Each of the girls, in their own unique way, spoke about the obstacles they faced everyday prior to coming to Rogers, but now they are able to face challenges knowing that they have a plethora of skills they can use to help improve the moment.
“Pearls of Wisdom” Raffle
Congratulations to Julie Ellenbecker, winner of our “Pearls of Wisdom” Raffle sponsored by Lyle Husar Designs. A very special thank you to Craig Husar, who surprised each of our Nashotah graduates with their own set of pearl earrings.
Dessert and Coffee Station
After the program, guests were invited to take a step back in time and stroll through the newly re-imagined Streets of Old Milwaukee. Coffee stations and dessert bars were set up throughout the cobblestone lanes. It was a perfect end to a special evening filled with laughter and friendship!
